The West Corner consists of the Flemish Hill Country or "het Vlaamse Heuvelland" (Kemmelberg lies at a distance of 5 km), the Hopland or "Hoppeland" (in Poperinge), the polders around Veurne and the wide beaches of De Panne (35 km). The West Corner (de Westhoek) is a pure wonder. For relaxation or sport walking, you will find yourself in the right place here. Numerous routes have been laid out for cyclists. The Flemish Hill Country that extends up to France is a real challenge for the true racing cyclist.
