Anglais: This completely renovated (2010) apartment complex is located in the small and quiet town of Tröpolach, in the Gail Valley, on the Italian border near the city of Hermagor. Tröpolach lies at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level and offers fantastic panoramic views of the Alps. You can choose from a total of 10 apartments spread over 4 buildings. Each apartment receives one (free) parking space. If interested, there is the possibility to rent an extra parking space (please specify when booking). In each apartment building there is a storage area for bicycles and sports equipment. Each apartment has a lovely balcony where you can enjoy plenty of peace and quiet. In the vicinity of your apartment you will find shops and restaurants where after a day outdoors you can enjoy delicious dishes of European cuisine as well as typical Austrian meals. Guests have the opportunity to get a free + CARD which gives you discounts off the admission price of various events and attractions in the region (available with a deposit of € 5). Tröpolach is situated in a picturesque valley in Carinthia, an area of the Alps crossed by the crystal clear Gail River. This river is ideal for fishing and rafting. Along the river and parallel to the Italian border there is the Carnic R3 cycling route (Karnischer Radweg R3) which winds its way past many romantic villages and old farmhouses and provides numerous stops where you can indulge in the local specialties. Tröpolach is also the main base of the "Millennium Express", the longest cableway in the Alps, which ends in the center of Sonnenalpe Nassfeld. The cable car is open during the summer months and also allows for bicycles. During your trip to the top of Kofelplarz Madritsche (1919 meters above sea level), a distance of 7.6 km, you will span an altitude of 1.3 km without switching cable cars. This trip by cable car (with 15-person cabins) takes only 17 minutes, but is an indescribable and sure to be an unforgettable experience! At the end the cable car takes you to the Nassfeld area with its beautiful lakes and wilderness expanse where visitors can enjoy a relaxing time. Thanks to the numerous activities and opportunities in Nassfeld-Hermagor it is an ideal destination for families and sports enthusiasts. The area offers activities for everyone. For cyclists, walkers, joggers and lovers of Nordic walking there are well-marked trails for persons of all abilities. Water enthusiasts can go swimming and diving in the lakes as well as rafting, kayaking, canoeing and tubing down the river. There is also an NTC Parkour: The right place for unusual adventures. The region of Nassfeld-Hermagor is known as the capital of ... bacon! Here the annual Gaital bacon festival is held. Other special regional delicacies include salmon and Gailtaler Almkaas (cheese). You will find even more water fun at Lake Pressegger (Pressegger See), with a water temperature of 28 degrees. Here you will also find trampolines, mini-cars, several water rides, boat rentals and more. The aqua-arena of Kötschach Mauthen offers lots of water fun thanks to its indoor and outdoor pools.

Golfers are sure to enjoy their stay here too. At a distance of just 5 km from the apartment there is an 18-hole golf course situated on more than 70 hectares. Finally, this area contains a number of cultural sites. The City Museum in Villach is one place definitely worth visiting. Art, culture, the history of the city, cozy courtyards and numerous exhibitions combine to present a beautiful picture of the city of Villach. A real experience is Alpenwildpark/Naturstadel in nearby Feld am See, with its 7000 gallon fish tank, fishing museum, child-friendly animal trail and wildlife park.
