For supermarket shopping and other shops, the small town of Venarey Les Laumes is a five minute drive. The cities of Dijon, Beaune and Auxerre are all within easy reach as are the classic, world-famous wine growing areas of Chablis, Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuits. The beautiful medieval town of Semur en Auxois is just 10 minutes drive. There are lots of fabulous golf courses in the area and the very welcoming owners are golf players and will be happy to arrange rounds for you. The cottage banks the little stream of La Lochère.
