Anglais: Discover the treasures of this region: the regional Nature Park of Landes de Gascone, the Ecological Museum of Grande Lande in Marqueze (recalling rural life in the Landes region during the nineteenth century), the Current of Hutchet and it's nature reserve, the pond of Leon, the basin of Archaron, the bird sanctuary of Teich and last but not least, the beautiful Landes coast! A small museum tells the story of fishing at Capbreton and traces the history of fishing on the Landes.
Horse fanciers will be attracted by the private arenas, the Andalusian horse shows and dressage demonstrations of Andalusian and Portuguese horses. Those who love fishing will without a doubt appreciate the Moulin de la Galoppe in Saint-Michel-Escalus. For those who love water sports, catamaran sailing, rafting, canoeing and windsurfing are all possible here. Special local products also await you: foie gras (fattened duck or goose liver), Armagnac (brandy) and the wines of Tursan from local producers (Landes de Leon farm, the Vintners of Tursan ...). At the restaurant you can get a meal ticket as well as pre-cooked take away dishes. Each week at the „Les Bateliers“ bar and restaurant there is a tasting of regional specialties: garbure = soup of bacon with cabbage and other vegetables, duck confit, axoa, themed meals and the menu of the day (included in the meal ticket). All shops and services can be found at a distance of 1.5 km. Of course you should also not miss the spa town of Dax, famous for its rugby, bullfights and gastronomy. Other possibilities: arenas, the Gallo-Roman ramparts, a fountain of 64° hot water and the Leon Cathedral of Moliets-et-Maa.
