First the park facilities: Free of charge are: the tennis courts, table tennis tables, swimming pool, lawn, beach, playground, soccer field, sauna and beach volleyball. In the lounge and reception area you have free wireless Internet access. The following facilities are available for an additional fee: bike rental, tennis and squash hall, boat rental and golf with up to a 20% discount.

Waldviertel is located in northern Austria, close to the border with the Czech Republic. Here you will find the most scenic bike and mountain bike trails. For nature lovers there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the surrounding nature with its wonderful fresh air.

Both the holiday maker and sports fan will feel at home here. There are numerous trails through the forests, leading to picturesque villages. Along the way you can stop off for a drink or dine in a typical Austrian “stube‿. There are adventurous trails for mountain bikers and “ordinary‿ paths for bicycles, so you can explore the area endlessly. For those seeking peace and quiet, as well as for the sun worshipers, in addition to the natural surroundings of the park there is the Herrensee. This lake has a large lawn and a sandy beach, ideal for children, swimmers and beach lovers. For people who love sports there are numerous possibilities. In winter, when the lake is frozen, you can go skating.

Culture lovers are also well catered to. Within driving distance lie cities like Vienna and Prague. The Czech Republic also has the beautiful historic towns of Trebon, Cesky Krumlov and České Budějovice. Their town centers are protected UNESCO World Heritage sites. Here you can stroll through the narrow streets and be transported back to the time of the Middle Ages.
Austria itself offers a number of picturesque towns like Litschau, Heidenreichstein, Gmünd and Waidhofen a.d. Thaya. In the Waldviertel and in the Czech Republic there are many interesting attractions, including castles and museums.
