During your holiday in Loire-Atlantique, enjoy lots of sunshine on the 5 km long sandy beach where you can relax, swim and enjoy other water sports activities like sailing. The beach invites you to go in search of whelks, cockles, mussels and other periwinkles... Hike or cycle along the Route des Coquillages, from Croisic to Pénestin, and enjoy all its local flavors. Explore local villages with their thatched cottages or visit the numerous religious relics in Guerande, the city classified as «Arts et Histoire» (Arts and History). There is also Piriac and Le Croisic, classified as «Petites Cités de Caractère» (Small Towns of Character) and Saint-Nazaire with its shipyards.
