Anglais: The city’s priceless treasure is of course its world famous spa, which is popular with thousands of people who come each year in search of recreation and therapy. The spa has an adjoining park of 30 hectares which has been turned into the country’s most beautiful open-air aqua park, complete with therapeutic spa, child pool, wave pool, whirlpool and open and covered pools with all the required services. The aqua park, which opened in the summer of 2000, has the atmosphere of a beach resort. This Mediterranean atmosphere is courtesy of the sandy beaches, pirate ships, lighthouse and palm trees. Those who love to splash can choose from among 9 different 12-meter-high towers. The famous adventure slides (multi-slide, 4 trails, kamikaze, hydroslide, black hole, mad river, twister, Niagara) are more than one kilometer in length. A number of restaurants offer typical local dishes and European gastronomy. Among the many high-quality programs there are museums and historical sites you can visit. In the first weekend of August there are the Equestrian Days of Hajdúszoboszló and the spa organizes a ball 2 or 3 times every season.
