Anglais: This wonderful chalet is located in the ancient peasant village of Govedartsi, in Bulgaria. In the middle of vast fields and the Rila Mountains you can experience a true adventure! On the village square, under the shade of big old trees, the inhabitants enjoy their morning coffee, or later in the afternoon, their vodka. The cafes are among the few bars that the town is rich in. Each day it is a joy to see the ritual of the shepherds, or watch the cattle leave in the morning and return in the afternoon. The chalet is located in Govedartsi. It is 66 km south of Sofia, 20 km west of Borovets (a 20 minute drive) and 10 km southwest of Samokov (a 10 minute drive). In the town of Samokov you will find restaurants, shops and a market. Autres informations concernant les attraits de la région
Le propriétaire fournit également de l'information dans ces autres langues:
Anglais: The Rila Mountains in the western part of Bulgaria are the highest mountains in the Balkans. The highest peak is Moesala at 2925 meters. The Rila National Park is located 100 km south of Sofia and is the largest national park in Bulgaria. It is the highest and most centrally located in the Rilagebergte mountains. In the park you will find (rare) wild animals such as bear, wild boar, deer, falcons and eagles. There are also historic cultural sites of which the Rilaklooster (Rila Monastery; a part of UNESCO's World Heritage list) is the most famous. This landmark is an example of the Bulgarian Renaissance and symbolizes Slavic cultural identity following centuries of occupation and oppression. The Rila Mountains are part of a beautiful nature and contain two of the largest rivers in Bulgaria: the Iskar and Msarista. The area is well developed so mountain houses, holiday villages, sports and health centers can be found here. The Rila Mountains offer many opportunities for activity including hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, horseback riding, fishing and bird-watching. Along the road to Sofia lies the large Lake Iskar, which is ideal for a summer swim. You can also try out various water sports here such as water-skiing and wakeboarding. In the winter you can go skiing in Borovets. This is the most touristic ski resort with 18 ski runs (a total length of 60 kilometers). Modern 6-person cable cars take you to the top of Musala Mountain. An excellent well-equipped ski resort (skiing at an altitude of up to 2560 meters) in the midst of lovely pines. Here you will find yourself regularly in the white wonder world that too often seems to be just reserved for scenes on postcards. A cozy après-ski is guaranteed! The ski season runs from mid-December to late April. Malyovitsa is a beautiful, wooded area perfect for nature lovers. This beautiful mountain is 2730 meters high and has 5 ski runs. A real Bulgarian ski resort where the local people also enjoy skiing.- En ligne depuis: 2010-04-16
