Anglais: Résidence Durbuy, a luxurious center amidst beautiful nature, is situated only 3 km from the picturesque world famous town of Durbuy. It is said to be “the world’s smallest town‿. You will find Durby on the Ourthe River, overshadowed by neighboring cliffs. You can go for a stroll, have a drink on one of the terraces or on the market square, or walk along the small alleys with their surprising buildings and quaint shops. There are many local events organized throughout the year. A wide range of outdoor sports is also offered in the Ourthe area. The flats of the holiday park are extra-large and are located on or around the hills. A villa consists of 4 flats, each of which has a private entrance. The flats can accommodate between 2 and 8 persons. Résidence Durbuy is an ideal place to spend time as a couple, with the family or with friends. You will find an indoor swimming pool with whirlpool and kiddie pool at the entrance to the park. You can use it freely as a guest of the park. In summer you can enjoy the outdoor pool (with deck chairs). Other facilities include: a tennis court, small playground, laundrette, sandwich service via the reception area (weekends and holidays), free fondue-set and raclette set, and DVD’s available to rent. Maps and books for hiking are also available at the reception area. For the smaller guests there is a small playground, a covered pool and an outdoor pool. Anglais: Durbuy, which is said to be the world’s smallest town, is located on the Ourthe River below the Ardes. If you love good cuisine, lovely terraces and quaint shops you will find yourself in paradise in Durbuy! Of course there is plenty of opportunity for activity such as hiking, kayaking down the Ourthe, mountain biking, or horseback riding through the woods. Durbuy is also an important tourist region. You can visit ‘confiturerie Saint-Amour’; the ‘La Ferme au Chêne’ beer brewery; or the diamond museum ‘Diamour’. ‘Topiaires park’ will surprise you with its unique collection of box tree sculptures. There is also the 15th century castle of Grandhan and the Roman churches of Tohogne and Bomal, where the Aisne and Ourthe rivers unite. The grottoes of Hotton are definitely worth a visit. Activities include: kayaking, mountain biking, adventure programs, horseback riding, golf, climbing, abseiling, quad riding and hiking tours along marked trails. There are also many local events organized throughout the year in the land of ‘Ourthe & Aisne’: each Wednesday a market in Barvaux; Easter and chocolate markets in Durbuy; and a Christmas fair and skating rink in Durbuy (weekends of December).
