The countryside around the house is very unspoilt although it is only about two miles from Carpentras where there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Isle sur la Sorgue with its famous Sunday antique market and canal side restaurants is about 14 miles and the papal city of Avignon about 17 miles. Close to the famous wine producing area of Cotes de Rhone where there are plenty of vineyards to visit. The studio is part of a former farmhouse in well maintained and set out gardens where the swimming pool (10x5m 02/07-03/09) is shared with another studio and the owners. It has a most attractive poolside area with parasols and sun beds. There is a private patio with garden furniture at the bottom of the steps which lead to the studio. Gas barbecue.
