West Flanders is a tourist draw for foreigners as well as for Belgians. The Coast, the Westhoek, the towns of cultural and historic value, the Westflemish Hills, and more: West Flanders has something in store for everybody. Holidaymakers can walk or bike, swim and sun, go sailing or horse-riding, enjoy the province's culture and gastronomic delights, and much more.  The Province spoils its visitors with signposted tracks for cycling and mountain biking, with walking circuits and motoring routes, with a network of bridle paths and with landing stages for pleasure boating.  West Flanders has a dozen provincial domains with a total amount of over 1,000 ha. They form the green lung of the province. Exploring nature and holidaymaking happen all at the same time here.  In co-operation with the Westflemish Leisure Time Association the Province is working on a master plan for the environmental planning of outdoor recreation. Together with Westtoerisme the Province stimulates the revaluation and extension of the tourist offer at the Coast, and supports projects aiming at the advancement of competitive tourism.  There is a provincial Olympic pool in Bruges. The Province supports many sports and organizes the 'Go in for sports' fair, the championships for In-line Skating, etc...
