Further details about property

Perfect Hawaiian Beach House in Waialua - Molokai Thank you for your interest in our Molokai Beach House. It is a nice, comfortable little beach house in Waialua: 3 bedrooms (2 queens, 1 double, 2 twins), living room, 1 bath, complete kitchen and dining room. Sitting on the back porch, you have spectacular views of three islands - not to mention phenomenal whale-watching (in season, of course, which is mid- December through end of April). The house is right on a very private white sand beach on Molokai’s lush East End. An ancient fish pond in front makes calm, shallow water for about 200 yards out to the reef. Great snorkeling and fishing are there at the reef directly in front of the house. Good surfing and body surfing can be found nearby. Fabulous hiking to lush waterfalls and historic sacred Hawaiian heiaus is within a few minutes’ drive. I will send you an 'orientation' of where to shop, things to do, people to call upon booking your reservation. Snorkeling, Safe Swimming Beach, Shower, Double Bed, Outdoor Shower, Sound View, TV/DVD, Child Friendly, Windsurfing, Ceiling Fans, High Speed Internet Access, Ocean View, Swimming, Twin Bed, Satellite TV, Water Filter, Washer/Dryer, Beachfront, Parking Available, Private Charcoal Barbecue, No Dishwasher, Food Processor, Backyard, Beach, Printer, Hunting, Sailing, Lanai, Panoramic Ocean View, SCUBA When you get your rent-a-car at the airport, go to the main road and turn EAST (left). The town of Kaunakakai is all of maybe four blocks long. You'll turn left off the main highway to get to the stores. Be sure to do enough food shopping to last you a few days. It's about a 30-minute drive to the house from town (45 minutes from the airport without stopping). Leaving town, continue EAST, watching the green mile marker signs. We're .2 mi. past the 19 mile marker, in the small community of Waialua. (There is a small lunch counter and convenience store in Puko'o, at the 16 mile marker.)

Payment Policy:

Percent Off Rates Discount (For September & October) : 12%.

• Please note, we are required by the state of Hawaii to collect 13.41% taxes. Also, there is a $150.00 cleaning fee. Cancellation Policy:

• Half the rental rate is required as a non-refundable deposit to hold the reservation.

• If you must cancel due to an emergency, and if I am able to rent the time opened by your cancellation, I am happy to refund your deposit. Rules: The only request we ask of you is to attend to the basic, daily maintenance, such as sweeping the sand off the floor, washing your dishes, and taking care of your own garbage. The garbage truck comes by every Thursday morning. Be sure to put the cans out by the road Wednesday night, and see that the lids are tightly on the cans to keep out stray animals. Other than that, please don't barbecue on the deck, leave the oak chairs out in the rain, or leave chairs or towels on the beach for the incoming tide to wash away - common sense stuff ... There is a tub at the foot of the stairs to wash the sand off your feet. Be sure to keep fresh water in it to step in before you walk up onto the porch to minimize the amount of sand tracked into the house. And, by the way, we keep a pick ax in the laundry shed for opening coconuts. PLEASE do not try to crack them open on the edge of the concrete slab! Please, no smoking in the house. If you do smoke outside, please collect and properly dispose of your butts.
