"Le Petit Manoir" Montbosq Holiday Cottages in Normandy These lovely old Normandy houses in idyllic surroundings are perfect for a quiet relaxing break or for outdoor sporting activities; golf, fishing, mountain biking, walking, para-gliding, horse riding, rock climbing, white water canoeing, water skiing, jet skiing. There are at least 10 fishing lakes and around 6 golf courses within easy reach. They are ideally situated for sight seeing, with several historic towns within 30 mins drive such as Caen, Bayeux, Vire, St Lo. The landing beaches with their wonderful sandy expanses and the Mulberry harbour at Arromanches are about 40 minutes. Falaise, Mont St Michel and Granville are about 1 hours drive.
Le Petit Manoir : Le Petit Manoir is a delightful large old country farmhouse that was part of a 17th Century Chateau. It is surrounded by fields, woodlands and stunning views for peace, tranquility and relaxation. Situated in superb rolling countryside with outstanding views down the valley you need look no further for a relaxing holiday.
The comfortable old house has a rustic charm; there are five large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a four poster bed, wardrobe chairs and en-suite shower room. Next to this is bedroom 2 with bunk beds and a single bed, chest of draws, children's toys and a box-seat. Bedroom 3 has bunk beds, chest of draws, wardrobe and more children's toys.
La Fermette : La Fermette is a pretty cottage originally built in the 17th century and was part of an old chateau. The comfortable old cottage has a rustic charm; there are 3 double bedrooms, 2 with double beds, (1 four poster with pretty drapes) the other double has bunk beds and 2 singles, next to this is a toilet with wash basin. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs with double bed, next to the family bathroom, bath with shower over toilet and washbasin. Also available is a cot, baby changing facilities and high chair. In the open plan lounge is seating for 7 people. All bed linen and duvets are provided at no extra cost and 1 hand towel and bath towel . Please bring towels for the beach.
