Restful Ancient Villa in Verona Area, 13 Bedrooms, Sleeps up to 24 People Surrounded by a private park of green lawns and secular plane trees, the villa (of more than 700 square meters) is rented entirely to only one group of persons. It is situated on the banks of the river Adige in the town of Villabartolomea and it is still owned by the ancient feudal lords of the town and the surrounding area. It was completely rebuilt at the beginning of the last century, adjacent to the vast expanse of farm land which dates back to the 1700's. It is in the heart of a highly suggestive rural setting comprised of the Adige river, the ample plains and the adjacent 'Great Veronese Valleys'. Here the three regions of Veneto, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna come together, offering attractions of great cultural, artistic and environmental interest. Ideal position for visiting cities and places of enormous appeal such as Verona, Mantova, Ferrara, Vicenza, Padova, Lake of Garda and Delta of Po river (all within the distance of 60 Km). And Venice is only 100 km far! The villa is furnished with antique paintings and furniture and it is completely equipped. It is comprised of a large hall and other sitting rooms, including billiards room, dining room, large kitchen with fireplace and numerous bedrooms (most of them with twin beds and private baths). It can accommodate up to 24 people with 7 extra bedrooms on request. Nearby there are tennis courts and horse riding schools. Slightly further there are four 18 hole golf courts. An above-ground swimming pool on the premises is available to guests and opens from June 15 to September 15. Payment Policy: All rates are in Euro. All the above prices are charged up to 12 people, no discount for a lower number since the villa is rented entirely. Additional 7 rooms are available (up to further 11people) at a fare, per person and per week, of 1/20th of the rate applicable to the relevant season. Long winter rental of more than one week, excluding Christmas, New Year and Easter periods, will be granted a discount of 20% on the rental price. Other rental periods of more than on week will be granted a discount of 10% on the rental price. Final cleaning cost (as well as heating cost in winter season) is not included. The Easter week is charged at the fare of Euro 3800 and Christmas and New Year periods are charged at the fare of Euro 3600. Booking conditions: no reservation will be binding for the owner unless expressly accepted in writing by both the owner and the client, according to the booking conditions which will be sent by fax or e-mail, by the owner to the guest, on the request of the latter. A down payment of 30% of the total price due for the requested period shall be remitted forthwith to the owner for confirmation of the booking. A deposit of Euro 600 (about US$ 800) shall be paid in cash to the owner upon arrival, as a security for any possible breakage and damage. Cancellation Policy: Should the guests cancel the booking after confirmation, they will loose the down payment of 30% already effected. Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
