Palazzo Gelmi Bed & Breakfast with Panoramic Views Palazzo Gelmi is a historical building that has been in the Gelmi family for over a century. The Palazzo maintains the original 19th century project , with marble cornices set around the wrought iron window gratings, railings and wooden gates. From the entrance in Via Tazzoli, you enter the hall and climb the nineteenth century staircase onto the B&B on the first floor. During reconstruction, neoclassical frescos came to light which presumably date back to the second half of the 18th century.

During major refurbishment, not only the frescos on the walls and ceiling were preserved, but also all the original 19th century elements such as engraved windows, stucco walls, doors and wooden flooring. Entering Palazzo Gelmi means being embedded in a unique historical dimension which the owner is proud to preserve. Today Palazzo Gelmi welcomes guests to share and appreciate both the beauty of the building as well as the wonderful city of Verona.

Earth Room: Room featuring medieval floral frescos and maintaining the original doors and windows. The room is furnished with vintage antiques. The large bathroom has a balcony from which the Arena can be admired.

Fire Room: Room frescoed with medieval motives and maintains the original doors and windows. It is furnished with 19th century antique engraved oak furniture. An original fireplace creates a warm romantic atmosphere.

Water Room: The largest room has a balcony with a view of the Arena. The engraved wooden furniture dates back to the early 20th Century.

Breakfast Room: It is our pleasure to offer our guests a full breakfast with first class quality produce of the territory. Breakfast can be served in the room upon previous request.

Service: Rooms cleaned daily. Guide books on the city and entertainment, daily papers and magazines for guest use. Guests can consult a small library, containing books in various languages, both for adults and children Lodovica will be glad to speak to guests in French, English and German.

Palazzo Gelmi is situated in a strategic position, both in regards to the historical center and the entrance gates of the city, therefore easily reached.
