The cosy apartment is located in the heart of Venice near the Grand Canal The apartment is comfortably furnished and consists of one room with a cooking area, a bathroom with shower, a little private courtyard. There are one double bed and one single sofa-bed. The apartment has been recently restored and is equipped with central heating, fridge, two ring stove, hi-fi, TV, hair dryer, iron, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. Linen and towels are provided and included in the price. The apartment is situated just two minutes walk from Grand Canal, close to Ca’ d’Oro and Casino, in one of the most attractive quarter of Venice. The property is near all services (such as grocer’s shop, pharmacy, public telephones etc.). Near the apartment at Santa Sofia there is a gondola service (at very cheap fee) that provides a ferry service across Grand Canal, to reach the famous fish and vegetable market of Rialto. Shower, Sofa Sleeper, Double Bed HOW TO GET THERE From Marco Polo airport there is a bus going to Venice, Piazzale Roma, where you can take the water bus (vaporetto) n.1 (direction Rialto/S.Marco), your stop is Ca'd'Oro (fifth stop). If you arrive by train you take the same line n. 1 in front of the railway station. The house is two minutes walk from the vaporetto stop as you can see from the map. Ca’ della Fontanella is situated just two minutes walk from Grand Canal, close to Ca’ d’Oro, in one of the most attractive quarter of Venice.
