It is next to a nature preserve / national park bordering Belize -the most beautiful virgin beaches in the hemisphere - accessible by short walk, bicycle ride or drive. Not to mention cave diving and myriad natural wonders.

Tulum is far enough from Cancun's tourist crowds but close enough to its airport. The beach line has chic coastal eco, accessible to the public, with friendly resorts that have become very fashionable -but expensive- in the last few years. For a fraction of the costs of these resorts, you can access the exact same locations and enjoy the privacy of a private residence with AC, hot water and in-house bathrooms, and still enjoy the beach restaurants, bars and parties (there is plenty of free parking anywhere you go in Tulum).

The condo is located in Villas Tulum, a safe residential complex, right off route 307, north west corner of Tulum pueblo, 1.8 mi from the beach and less than a mile from the Tulum center with its restaurants. There are 2 bikes that you can use to get around the area. The condo can comfortably accommodate 2-4 people – there is a queen size bed in the bedroom and an airbed (very comfortable, inflated/deflated in 2 minutes) that can be placed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and the housekeeping lady will ensure that there will be clean sheets and towels before your arrival. In case you want to do laundry or just drop it off for later pick up, the laundromat is right around the corner. Housekeeping services are also available. The windows and doors have metal guards and mosquito screens. You’ll have AC, ceiling fans, hot/cold water and satellite TV. There is a private backyard with a little patio and chairs. The convenience store and internet café are down the block, and the supermarket is within 5 minutes walk. You can also catch a bus from the Cancun airport that will take you to Tulum with a pit stop in Playa del Carmen.

Exit airport and take the on-ramp to your right before the overpass for highway 307 South (Tulum/Chetumal). This will take you to all points south in the Riviera Maya - Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Playacar, Paamul, Puerto Aventuras, Xpu-Ha, Akumal, Jade beach, Chemuyil, Bahia Soliman, Xel-Ha, Tankah Tres, and finally Tulum.

The entrance to Villas Tulum is before you get to the town of Tulum, turn right on the narrow road before you get to the intersection with the only traffic light in Tulum (left turn to the Tulum beaches, right turn to Coba) and supermarket San Fransisco on your right, make right on second street and you'll be on calle 2 oriente.
