Rive Gauche: Stylish Bed and Breakfast Lodge & Studio Aaccommodation THIS PROPERTY IS A BED AND BREAKFAST. RATES APPLY TO SINGLE ROOMS WITHIN THE HOME. Rive Gauche was purpose-built in 2007 to offer quality lodge-style accommodation in one double and one triple B&B rooms with en suite bathrooms. Also an independent studio (king bed) which may be rented by the week with or without breakfast. Located in a tranquil neighborhood on a 1ha garden/vineyard site overlooking the Waikato river, between Taupo and the Huka Falls, we are only 3 minutes from Taupo town centre and lake Taupo and conveniently located for visiting the tourist attractions of the central North Island.

Riverview studio -This room has a king-sized double bed, spacious bathroom, French marble-topped table, satellite TV, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. French doors open out onto a private courtyard with barbecue and outdoor furniture overlooking our own vineyard and the Waikato river. -

King Room -This room has a king-sized double bed and a king single bed, fully tiled bathroom, TV and shared access to a mini-kitchen with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and toaster. Suits a couple with one child. Available as a double/twin or triple.

Queen room -This room has a comfortable queen-sized slat bed with individual slat systems to guarantee a great nights rest. The bathroom is fully-tiled and equipped with under-floor heating, heater and heated towel rail. In addition, this room has a desk and access to the mini kitchen shared with the king room.

All rooms have free Wifi access, tea & coffee making facilities and crockery/cutlery available. Guests may relax in our garden courtyard or in our main lounge with Sky satellite TV. Studio guests also have their own private courtyard for relaxation. We aim to provide a calm and hospitable environment, in a region known for its scenic beauty, as well as for the events and activities that abound here. We are surrounded by nature, so why not walk some of the local trails, go trout fishing, explore the thermal areas, learn about Maori culture, play golf or take a boat trip on the lake. Rive Gauche is a convenient base for day trips to nearby tourist destinations such as Rotorua, Tongariro National Park, Napier and Waitomo.
