Striano is a Luxury Villa Renovated and Designed to a Very High Standard Classic & sophisticated Italian Villa perfect for large family groups, superbly positioned. Spacious & airy, 6 lovely bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
All the rooms are decorated with an interesting style of Flemish and Japanese chandeliers and 19th century Italian bedroom furniture. All beds are made from local handcrafted iron bed frames (Caparelli) and plush handmade bed coverings. All the bathrooms have been made with custom made Travertine marble with beautiful frescos, gold leaf mirrors and windows overlooking the valley. Huge chestnut beams span the house and are a particular feature of Striano.
Master Suite: The master suite has wooden floors throughout and a super king size gold edged iron bed frame. Wonderful views over the Valley and the garden. Off the master bedroom is a single room with its own unique matching antique gold edged bed frame which can be used as a dressing room or another single bedroom.In the master ensuite bathroom there are twin Travertine hand basins, large gilded mirrors and frescos, a separate Travertine shower cubicle and a large claw foot bath.
Kitchen:Large modern kitchen equipped with black marble surfaces, large Travertine cream double sink, large 90cm gas hob with extractor, Gas Oven, natural stone exterior walls and window and large door through to the kitchen patio and herb garden. On one wall of the kitchen is a small dining table for those intimate breakfasts. The kitchen is equipped with designer cookware, including Alessi pots, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, dishwasher, small fridge with a separate American fridge freezer.
Dining Room:Large dining room with original French 19th century dining table with seating for 12 people. The floors are laid in herringbone terracotta, the walls washed in beautiful pastel yellow. The central feature in this room is the Aga (custom made in England and shipped to Striano) in blue with hot and cool hotplates.
Pool: Striano has its own private large infinity designed swimming pool with views down the valley. There is a lower sunbath pool into which flows water from the upper pool. The constant movement prevents build up of any unwelcome insect life. The pool is 12m x 8m with a 12m x 2m sunbath pool.
Garden: beautifully landscaped and designed to the highest quality: with an Italian themed garden (with a maze of box hedges, statues and pots), cypress trees, olive trees, vines, pergolas, pretty English rose garden and loads and loads of grass.

Payment Policy: All the Rates are in Euros.
Gas and electricity excluded. Readings will be taken on arrival and must be paid locally. Security deposit will be required on arrival of 1,000 euros. This is refundable provided no damage to property.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit of 1,000 euros cash on arrival is required. This will be refunded only if Villa is clean & tidy, no damages to Villa and the Gas and Electricity fully paid by Guest.
PAYMENT METHODS
The rental price is payable as follows:
30% of rental price is to be paid to the Owner into the nominated current account to confirm reservation of booking. This deposit has to be paid in Euros and no other currency. The Guest has to be pick up all costs associated with the bank transfer and currency exchange. If not, then any difference will be taken from the Security Deposit.
The balance of the rental price has to be paid 4 weeks in advance of arrival at a Villa.
Cancellation Policy:
If the Guest wants to terminate or cancel the booking then the Guest has to give at least 8 weeks notice and accepts that any termination or cancellation
a) after deposit has been paid will mean that the deposit paid by the Guest is lost in its entirety.
b) after deposit has been paid and the final balance has been paid then a refund will be made by the Owner at its own discretion.
c) made less than 8 weeks notice will incur a termination charge which the Guest will have to be paid to the Owner.
Termination Charge will be 20% of the full rental price.
Rules: Rates are Subjected to Change without Prior Notice.
RENTAL PERIOD, ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE
Rental periods have to be booked on a weekly basis from Sat to Sat unless otherwise agreed with the Owner.
The arrival time on the arrival day is 4pm. Any earlier check in time has to be agreed with the Owner.
The checkout time on the day of departure is 10am. Any later check out has to be agreed with the Owner.
HOLIDAY RENTAL PRICE
The rental price for the duration of the holiday rental period includes the following
a) Linen / Towels: 1 set of towels (one hand towel and one bath towel) and 1 set of bed linen (one top sheet, one bottom sheet, 2 pillowcases) for each Guest will be provided. Any extra will be provided but charged for at the current rate.
b) Maid Service: Villa will be delivered in a clean & tidy condition. Guests have to pay extra for additional service during rental period or if they leave Villa very dirty after they have left. If this is not paid then the security deposit will be forfeited by the Guest.
c) Gas and Electricity: not included. These have to be paid by the Guest. Readings will be taken on arrival and on departure. If this is not paid then the security deposit will be forfeited by the Guest.
d) Tap Water: the cost of tap water is included in the price.
