The Garden of Wren: Vacation Townhouse with Fabulous Views of Semur-en-Auxois Accommodation: Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Shower room (Sleeps 2-4). Just on the edge of the Medieval Town of Semur en Auxois, this 300 year old house has been lovingly renovated by Patricia and her team of local craftsmen. Stone walls and exposed beams give charm to this delightful self-contained maisonette overlooking Semur en Auxois's old medieval turrets. An enclosed rose garden compliments this picturesque setting. The house has all modern facilities and has been furnished with family antiques. Suitable for both winter and summer stays, the house is fully gas centrally heated.

On the ground floor you will find a shower room, a separate loo, a hall with sufficient hooks to hang your coats in the winter-time, an open plan kitchen, sitting and dinning room. From here, you have access on to the garden where you will enjoy the sun, the smell of old roses and wisteria in the summer time. A garden table and chairs with a bbq invite you to dining al fresco in the evening. You will access the top floor by a hand-crafted stair-case, the two comfortable bedrooms have a rest full feeling with a view of the medieval village.

The house is fully double glazed for even temperatures and quiet undisturbed relaxation. The house caters for 2 couples or a family with 2 children, a travel cot with linen is also available on request. Fully equipped with Internet connections in the two bedrooms and sitting room, TV and radio.

It’s location gives you, the traveler, the best of both worlds, calm & tranquility but, within a 5 minute walk you can be in the centre of town with all the bustle, weekly market, many shops, cafes and restaurants etc. No need of a car. If you wish to take your bikes, there is a bike stand in the garden, so that bikes are safely stored. The house has easy parking facilities. No Smoking, Parking Available, No Pets Allowed, Child Friendly, Shower, Internet Access, Daily Trash and Towel Service Available, Kitchenette, Garden View By Air & Car: From Roissy Charles de Gaulle (Paris), Orly (Paris), Lyon and Geneva airports, you can rent a car; it is advisable to reserve a rental car before you leave for your holiday. Driving time varies will depend on your arrival airport, to note though that the house is only a short drive from the main Paris - Lyon motorway which will help reduce transfer time.
