The apartment is located in the new part of the city, 15 minutes walk to the old town and just behind the train station so that you can easily organize your train trips to different Galician towns and tourist sites (no need to stay in Santiago the whole time). Visit the stunning old towns of PONTEVEDRA, LA CORUÑA (plus beach and sea sites), the Roman town of LUGO, coastal areas, woods, in a region (Galicia) with hundreds of traditional celebrations and Romanic and Gothic churches. Galicia is on the northwest of Spain, a Celtic Atlantic region full of mystery, charm, history and a rich and high-quality gastronomy. Parking Available, TV/DVD, Washing Machine Only Santiago de Compostela's airport, Lavacolla, is 10 kms. off the flat. There are plenty of regular buses which travel between the airport and the city centre. One of the stops is in front of the train station, and the apartment is right behind it. You can also take a taxi for (nowadays) 19 euros -flat rate- to and from the airport - city centre. A good deal for a group up to 5 people.
