A paradise in the far west of Sicily – At the beach of San Vito lo Capo, visitors can explore the beach and its little red and pink coral pieces, which are considered a highlight of this location. A cos cos festival is held every year in September, enabling residents and tourists to feast on the best cous cous in all of Italy. During the festival the small town celebrates their local Sicilian specialties, which are available for purchase at small produce stalls. There is no menu in the small quaint restaurants, because the menu changes according to the catch of the day, this means guests are always guaranteed the freshest food. The beautiful beaches surrounding Sicily are famous for their crystal clear waters and soft fine sand.

However, San Vito has more to offer that their beautiful beaches. Within the region are old tuna factories, which display their traditional fishing techniques. Scopello is a tiny village close to San Vito Lo Capo, which is surrounded by Oleander bushes and contains Zingaro Nature reserve. Zingaro reserve houses many rare birds, flora and fauna. Furthermore, the park is an ideal hiking area and it is recommended to all visitors to detour inland towards Alcamo. Located in Alcamo is Mount Bonifato, which is 825 m high and provides a panoramic view over the entire Gulf of Castellammare. In addition there is the Doric temple and the amphitheatre of Segesta.

Living in Tufo an ancient villa – Tufo is located between San Vito Lo Capo and Zingaro nature reserve. The villa provides beautiful panoramic coastal views, and is surrounded by natural landscape as well as the ancient buildings of the former tuna factory in San Vita Lo Capo. Tufo villa was a former farmhouse. Recently the villa has been restored enabling maximum comfort and privacy for all our guests, whilst maintaining its unique architectural details. Villa Tufo is situated on a private plot of 5000 sqm, the plot is lined with Mediterranean wildlife and plenty of space for children to play. The villas large terrace is ideal for family barbecues on warm summer evenings or just to relax for those who enjoy a good glass of wine. The villa offers “La Dolce Vita”’ and is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday between the sea and the cultural highlights of the far west coast of Sicily.
