Corporate/Vacation Rental Private Cottage : In Historic Community The cottage is not in San Francisco but is 30 minutes from San Fransisco in Point Richmond in the East Bay. In general, it is a very convenient location. Please see if it is convenient for your plans before contacting us. If you're not sure, please ask about it. The Annex cottage is available by the month. On rare occasions it may be rented for less time. Please ask. We have traveled extensively and collected our favorite ideas for making The Annex a cozy and convenient home away from home. This furnished one bedroom cottage in Point Richmond is set back from the street with a native plant garden between it and the sidewalk. Enjoy the afternoon on the patio in the shade of the oak tree or on the porch in the sun. Enter and there are skylights, tile floors and high ceilings. There is a computer alcove with high speed internet. Utilities are included. However, in addition, there are applicable taxes and a refundable security deposit. For your information, we no longer accept pets. And of course, there's no smoking allowed on or near the premises.

Within short walking distance are all the necessary services such as restaurants and cafes, grocery stores, post office, library, etc. The Natatorium (aka The Plunge ) is newly restored to its 1920's grandeur and open for swimming! Walk up the hill and see the bay with a three- bridge view encompassing Berkeley, San Francisco and Marin. Point Richmond has its own downtown complete with special activities that are advertised in store windows and sandwich boards. Farmers Market from May through October!

This unique village in the East Bay is convenient to Berkeley, Oakland, Orinda, Vallejo, the wine country, Marin County, and San Francisco. It is the community closest to Chevron and Vertigo Software. Pixar, Bayer, and Industrial Light and Magic are near, too. Accessible hospitals are Kaiser, Doctor's, Alta Bates and Children's. Schools of higher learning such as Contra Costa College, UC Berkeley, and Dominican University are with a 20 minute drive. Travis Air Force Base and Coast Guard stations are in the vicinity.

The cottage has easy access to the Richmond San Rafael Bridge, Hwy 580, 80 and the Richmond Parkway. The Richmond BART station is accessible by bus as is downtown San Rafael.
