The Small Tetras's Hotel Located Just Outside the Village

The Petit Tetras hotel is located just outside the village, in Salvagny, where the old pine covered chalets and the storehouses that have such a unique architecture tower above the Giffre and face the Déchargeux and the Saubody falls.

There are thirty of them (access by a lift), all furnished, with 2 to 4 beds. Most of them are wood-panelled which gives them a specific warmth and luminosity. You'll see the sun go down behind the mountains or illuminate the fir trees at the crack of dawn from the balcony. They all have a shower or bathroom, separate toilets, a telephone and a television (you have to make a booking for it). For large famillies, the vast panelled room on the last floor will make you feel at home and the chidren will also have their own cosy corner on the mezzanine.

Here too it is mostly decorated with wood panels and the wide picture windows will allow you to admire the view, the skiers in the winter and the ibex with a pair of binoculars in the summer.... The ambiance is sympathetic and friendly with a buffet : for breakfast and also for lunch and supper (the main course is served on the table). Once a week, there's a Savoyard party ( for residents only and not during school holidays).

The main characteristic of this large chalet is the warm welcome and the friendly atmosphere in which Catherine Marcel and the whole staff will invite you to join them for a welcome cocktail You can choose between two sitting rooms (one of which is non-smoking) where you'll find a bar and a quiet or lively atmosphere and where you can prolong your evenings around the chimney or playing billards.
