Bellrock Lodge/Bed & Breakfast Accommodation in Russell. Bellrock is on the hill overlooking the historic village of Russell in the stunning Bay of Islands, New Zealand. From this wonderful vantage point you will see all the comings and goings of the passenger ferries, pleasure boats and village life. We are a 5min walk from Russell village and wharf. See spectacular sunsets from your room over Russell and the Bay of Islands. Breakfast is not included in the quoted rate but is available at $15pp for continental or cooked english or $30pp for full breakfast, and can be enjoyed in the dining room or if you prefer to do your own thing a breakfast basket is provided the night before for you to prepare at your leisure and enjoy on your private deck. Breakfast will be served (without extra charge) in the wheel chair unit. For special occasions we can provide a champagne breakfast.
When Russell was still dependant on whaling, it was known as “The Hell Hole of the Pacific”. Now it is a historic peaceful village. We have an 1840’s working tannery, printing and bookbinding museum housed in the Catholic Mission Building. Christ Church, the oldest church in New Zealand, with bullet holes reminding us of the turbulent past. Payment Policy:
• All Rates in NZ Dollars.
• Season Daily Rate per room, inclusive of GST (max 2 people per room)
• Single supplement: $25-00 less than the daily rate per room.
• Cancellation Policy:
• To confirm your booking, please supply us with your credit card details. No transaction will be processed until your arrival.
• During high season a cancellation fee of 50% of total booking will apply if cancellation is made less that 14 days prior to arrival date and a 100% cancellation if it is less than 7 days. Low and Shoulder season will incur a cancellation of 100% if cancellation is within 2 days of arrival. If after you have arrived, you cut your visit short, no refund will be given. In all cases, if we manage to resell your accommodation a full refund less any credit card transaction fees will be made to you.
• Unfortunately no pets allowed as we have two cats and a dog of our own.
• Our facilities are not suitable for young children but responsible teenagers are welcome. Rules:
