Introduction:The House is a boutique hostel located in the heart of Riga. It is a small and intimate hostel with very laid back, safe and relaxed atmosphere. The house offers private double, private single and family rooms. All the rooms are decorated with style and are very comfortable, as our number one priority is to make you feel like this is your own house in Riga. We cater for travelers, thrill seekers, families or business people of all ages and backgrounds.

Overview: In The House there is free wireless internet, we do not charge for bed linen or towels. Also we offer tea and coffee free of charge and you can use our fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meal and then enjoy it in the our fantastic lounge on one of the 3 loungiest sofas in Riga or at the dining table, marveling at our unique 19th century chimney - fire place. We also offer free self-service laundry. If you are wondering what to do here in Riga - we will always help you with insiders tips and advice. In a rainy day you can enjoy our in-house cinema system or a game of Nintendo Wii. Also our sister tourism agent can offer you different tours and activities in Riga or in Latvia's countryside. If you want something a bit more interesting to do, we can offer you a chance to go for a spin in our vintage Soviet car Milly the Moskvich :)

Accommodation: The House offers private double, private single and family rooms with shared bathroom. Every room has got its own character – they are not just your average hostel rooms. In total we have 6 rooms located in two fantastic apartments of a beautiful house built in 1989. Every room has got a bed, a desk, some chairs, TV (too many channels), some of the rooms feature a 19th century chimney, some rooms have got sofas, wireless internet is available everywhere in The House. Fireplace, Beach, Golf, Games Take a taxi to Barona/ Lacplesa corner (about 10 - 12 euro), OR take a bus 22 to Riga (1 euro) and get off at Stockmann Centrs. Now you have to get across that big street (take the underground passage to your left as you get off the bus), then go one block away from that big street to get on to Kr. Barona street - then turn right and walk for about 10 min until you have reached Lacplesa Street. You have arrived.
