A little further afield are the Marine Studies Centre Aquarium, Royal Albatross Colony, Larnach Castle, and ocean beaches deserted save for yellow eyed penguins and seals.
You can choose to go kayaking, boating, horse trekking or just walk the Peninsula tracks.
