For families that are wanting skin diving certification, or just for fun, those services are available. Many of Maine's famous attractions are a short drive away.

When you are here, you are always On Vacation! A Rustic 150' East shore prime Waterfront in the famous Poland Spring Area of Maine! 3/4 hours NW of Portland. Imagine this, a year round, beach cottage/home located only 22' from the water. It's fabulous! This site's warm, breezes and sunsets are inviting you to retreat home right now!

When it’s windy it feels like the ocean. When it’s calm it feels like Golden Pond. A short, private drive leads to peaceful sport/resort style living with, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, biking, water skiing, x-country skiing, skating, woods walking, right outside your door and golf right up the road. The Beach is sandy and playful with a dock.

Fun beach play areas have waters deep enough for water gardening, swimming and water-skiing, horseshoes or net games by August. It’s easy to go bike riding on roads around the lake or walking on dirt roads out through the woods. Taking day trips to ski resorts or do Ocean Arcades etc. is only an hour get a away. Or, it’s a perfect location at a nicely renovated year round cottage/camp style home to just sit around and vegg out and BBQ.

Quiet, private place.... The number of bedrooms are two plus a queen size sleep sofa in the living room that looks out over the water with DISH TV next to it. Right now (during weekly rentals) the upstairs loft type bedroom (with doors) has a comfortable queen size airbed, and a claw foot suds tub with three windows that look out over the water.

The downstairs bedroom is tucked into the vernal pool side of the land with 2 twin mattresses setup or they convert (bunk beds winter only) or go upstairs to a king bed size. In this room are also, shelves, a piano, a dryer and two closets for gear. There is also a very comfortable twin air bed that seems to float around the place.

The kitchen is fully equipped! There is a table/nook area in front of a bay and other window area in the kitchen. There are two decks for BBQ activity attached to the house and a third deck down by the beach. You can see the beach area from cooking areas and or couch by the TV. There are boats. There is a small kayak and a couple canoes for (careful) boaters and for fishing. People often leave a tip if they use the boat (s), as I do not officially rent them. Officially, kayaks and canoes can be rented from a place up the road a day. Pay whatever you can. There is great access for a water-ski boating. A boat landing is at the other end of Tripp Lake. This Lake is about 3 miles long and one half miles wide.

It is both shallow and fairly deep waters… and the fishing is great too! The swimming is safe as it is shallow near the beach and there is a channel for the boat. It is easy access to the beach area from the home. Firewood is available for home and fire pit. This place for both the fire pit and the inside wood stove. Feel free to ask for services to make your stay here for the winter easier and pleasant. A perfect retreat!
