The Stone House The Country Cottage Getaway is located back a long private country lane on the Lawrence County, Butler County line in Western Pennsylvania.

McConnell’s Mill State Park with its miles long Slippery Rock creek gorge, mid 1800’s mill building, covered bridge, miles of hiking trails, and beautiful rock formations, is mile from the front door.

Moraine State Park is 10 minutes driving time away. Swimming, hiking, fishing, boating, picnicking, and a 7 ½ mile bike trail (with bicycle rental) are the feature activities at this popular park.

If you like to shop, the Grove City Factory Outlet Shops are just 18 miles North. Main Street Volant with its scores of shops is 15 miles. Many fine antique shops can be found in our “neck of the woods.”

The Stone House: The 1844 stone house is one of the earliest houses built in the area. It’s nearly 2 foot thick walls and antique oak charm, remind you of a day long ago. Modern conveniences and a spacious covered porch provide for an enjoyable experience.
