We are just a few miles north of Eagle River, WI, a wonderful, small town known for great vacation homes and cabin rentals. Oak Ridge Resort is a year round family resort. We offer four cabin rentals that will suit all your lodging and accommodation needs, all surrounded by beautiful and fragrant old pine trees and majestic oaks.

We are located on the south shore of Lac Vieux Desert, the headwaters of the Wisconsin River. Our beautiful lake is famous of its record musky (a World Record Musky was caught here), walleye, northern pike, perch, small mouth and large mouth bass and panfish fishing, and is one of the largest in the state with 4300 acres and 19 miles of fantastic shoreline.

Come stay with us any time of the year and enjoy many wonderful vacation activities in spring and summer such as swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, berry picking, scenic driving and wildlife watching. There is plenty to do in fall and winter, too. You can enjoy watching the northern forests burst into brilliant fall colors as well as hunting, ice fishing, snowmobiling or cross country skiing. Just at the Oak Ridge Resort "door" you will have access to 600 miles of Vilas County snowmobiling trails in the Nicolet National Forest. We believe Oak Ridge Resort is one of the best kept secrets among God's Country resorts where you can spend a great relaxing and also fun family vacation or just enjoy a quick weekend getaway from daily stress of city life. Being surrounded by acres and acres of public forest lands all open to tourists and visitors, Oak Ridge Resort is in a unique position to offer its guests memorable vacations, no matter what the season. You can enjoy golfing on 14 golf courses in the area, as well as miniture golfing, winery tours (and tastings) or even museums.

Our goal is that cabin rentals for the time of your vacation at Oak Ridge Resort become your second home, your vacation home. You will be very happy with our spacious, modern, clean, housekeeping 2 bedroom cottages located just at the water's edge on the south shore of beautiful Lac Vieux Desert lake. They can accommodate up to 6 guests and they are completly furnished including bed linens, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, just to mention a few amenities.

For your enjoyment, outside all vacation homes you will find grill, firepit, picnic table and, of course, a 14 foot boat is also included to fish the lake and just to relax on the water. After a succesfull fishing day you can use our fish cleaning house to clean your fish and then freeze them (if you want) in a freezer there. Motors for the boats or boat lifts are also available for a nominal fee. Bring your pet! Oak Ridge Resort is one of very few resorts allowing pet owners to enjoy their vacation time together with their family companions.
