Further details about property

A Recently Built Cabin in Petite Riviere Saint Francois It all started in 2006 when Sylvie Faria and Étienne Beauregard fell in love with the area, particularly the Versant du Massif real estate project, overhanging the Petite-Rivière St-François. This cabin settlement offered owners the opportunity to make some revenue from their holiday dwelling by renting it to other vacationers. That was all it took to charm the young couple, who dreamed of building a cabin in the Charlevoix region with sustainable development in mind.

“We were looking for a holiday home that would be located in the heart of nature. With our three children, we like to practice a lot of outdoor activities, both in the summer and winter”, says Sylvie. “This project perfectly fitted our needs. Moreover, it allowed us to temporarily rent our cabin during the times of year we would not use it. Our guests would be able to enjoy the same services that are available at the Versant du Massif, including a heated swimming pool, a spa and a shuttle service for skiers”.

Étienne and Sylvie bought their 33,000 sq. feet piece of land in 2007 with the objective of building a two-unit structure while maintaining the greatest care for the environment. “In our daily lives, we try our best to limit our impact on the environment” says Étienne, internship Coordinator at École Polytechnique de Montréal. “We did not intend to compromise on our principles! At the same time, we wanted a comfortable place, where people would enjoy a warm atmosphere and feel really at home”. Étienne and Sylvie started looking for an architect who could realize their dream; that person was Jean-François Julien from Cardin-Ramirez-Julien architects.

Newfoundland Vacation Rentals – Savoring History

When most people plan their vacations, they automatically think about tropical beaches or trips to the snow covered mountains for skiing and snowboarding. However, if you’re interested in a vacation that will allow you to truly slow down and enjoy the finer things in life, you should think about a trip that will take you off the beaten path and give you a chance to say in Newfoundland vacation rentals. These aren’t your typical time shares or extra suites in a hotel resort, instead these vacation rentals give you a chance to experience all the comforts of home away from home.

Newfoundland vacation rentals are a great way to take a vacation that’s outside the box and get away to a place where the people are friendly and time seems to flow just a little more slowly as you catch up on your reading or enjoy a glass of wine on the porch of your private cottage in North America’s oldest city. You’ll finally unwind as you plan your daily adventures, walking along the shore and hunting for seashells. The opportunities for soaking up both the sun and historical maritime culture abound in this destination.

Although Newfoundland vacation rentals are steeped in history, the city itself has grown up to be quite modern, and over the years it has proven to be one of the most popular travel destinations among both Canadian and international vacationers. If you are interested in exploring the cobblestone streets of a quaint fishing town that was established in the 1500’s and is home to some of the world’s most stunning coastal scenery, this is the town for you. You’ll feel right at home amongst the town’s friendly locals, and might even taste some of the freshest seafood that you’ve ever had.

One of the greatest things about choosing Newfoundland vacation rentals for your next getaway is that you will have the chance to experience the comfort and convenience of house, cottage, or room rental that is unlike any commercial hotel experience that you’ve ever had. Feel like a local as you prepare your own picnic lunches in your fully equipped kitchen, and park your bikes in your very own car port during your stay. Feel like more than just another customer when you enjoy bed and breakfast with the owners of you bed and breakfast. You’ll never want to go back to overcrowded hotels again!
