Spacious, bright holiday home with fantastic views of the Dordogne countryside This large semi detached 3 bedroom character French house is bright and spacious with large windows and original features including log fire and chandeliers. In years gone by the house used to be the local bakery and was sympathetically converted into a family home. The fully fitted kitchen opens on to an elevated terrace which overlooks the enclosed garden and has fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and rolling hills. The holiday home is ideally situated in the beautiful countryside of the Perigord Vert region and is located in the centre of the pretty village of Payzac with all amenities including restaurants, 2 cafe bars, bank, supermarket, 2 boulangeries and butchers on the doorstep. There are many attractions for the holiday maker with golf, swimming, tennis, canoeing, water sports, fishing nearby. The area is also ideal for walking and cycling and an ideal base to visit the famous Dordogne places of interest. Close by to the house is Chez Michel's bar, whose host is the famous Michel, an extremely friendly local character, he can speak a little English and will help you with your French over a glass of beer. Payment Policy: £60 deposit required to secure the booking (non refundable). Full payment within 6 weeks of booking. Payment either by cheque or bank transfer. A damage deposit of £100 will be returned within 10 business days of departure if there are no damages. We inventory and inspect the unit before and after your stay. You will be charged for missing items including linens, keys. You will be charged for excessive cleaning, dirty dishes, moved furniture, and garbage not disposed of in the proper receptacles. You will be charged for damage done to the unit beyond normal wear and tear. Cancellation Policy: The deposit of £60 is not refundable if the booking is subsequently cancelled Rules: Pet policy - a small dog will be considered with additional cleaning fee. Smoking Policy - Smoking is not permitted in the house. Smoking is permitted on the patio or in the garden. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly. On departure All furniture should be in the same place as it was on arrival. The kitchen should be clean, dishes washed, and refrigerator wiped down. All trash should be bagged and disposed of in garbage can. Check under beds and furniture for all personal belongings.
