The Beachfront Bungalow Designed to Accommodate One or Two Couples Koromakawa Resort located on the Island of Ono, Kadavu, offers a 1km long, secluded, sandy beach, with warm ocean waters. The beach is protected against strong currents or waves making it ideal for families with young children. The twenty acre property is bordered on one side by 400 acres of native land and on the other by a pristine marine reserve. Your beachfront bungalow has been designed to accommodate one or two couples traveling together, or a family. It is surrounded by a large deck with an infinity plunge pool cascading its spring fed water through to the gardens below. Fed by water from a large artesian well, the water is so pure it is not filtered nor are chemicals added to the continuous flow from the well.

Excursions are available to uninhabited nearby islands for a private picnic, bird viewing and snorkeling. We can also arrange for you to visit an authentic local village or school that will expose you to true Fijian hospitality.

The abundance of oceanic life means there have been occasional sightings of Pilot Whales, Dolphins, Hammerhead sharks and even Orca’s near the Great Astrolabe Reef. If you like Manta Rays, then we can almost guarantee you will be able to swim with them. To date, every guest has been able to snorkel with them at some time during their stay. (Manta Rays are just 5 minutes away, by boat from your beachfront bungalow) Each time our boat goes out with a dive group (minimum of two), the charge is US$45 per person. After completing the first dive and the divers elect to make a second dive, the second dive is only US$35 per person. There will be no deviation from PAD I safe practices for scuba diving and each dive is accompanied by a PAD I instructor or Dive Master Free Open Water Certification! You need to have completed Confined Water Training before arriving at Koromakawa and bring the PIC sheet attesting to course completion.
