The Swallows Cottage with Access to Beautiful Courtyard Garden "Glebe farm cottages" is a recently converted, Victorian barn development of five 4 star cottages set around a landscaped central courtyard with lavenders and a 100 year old olive tree , each with their own private garden. Glebe farm itself is a 110 acre working arable, beef and lavender farm, 6 miles east of Nottingham center in the picturesque river Trent valley.
"The Swallows Cottage" Set in a tranquil setting surrounded by patchwork fields and riverside meadows. Recently modernized FOUR STAR Victorian barn conversion. All ground floor accommodation, spacious twin bed room, large walk in power shower room. Oak open plan kitchen, Comfortable/lounge dinner with TV/ DVD/ CD player, picture window access to beautiful courtyard garden. Wireless internet.
"Hayloft Cottage" Sleeps 4. All ground floor accommodation. Double bedroom with access to courtyard garden, Bunk room with roof window (top bunk can be removed if an adult requires). Walk in shower room, modern ,fully equipped kitchen. Spacious lounge diner with French doors to private garden and patio area. Picnic table and barbecue.
"The Granary Cottage" Sleeps 5. Three first floor bedrooms, One double, one twin/bunk bed and one single bedroom. Modern bathroom heated towel rail. Comfortable lounge/diner and open plan oak fitted kitchen. TV/ CD player Private garden. Picnic table and chairs.
The cottages are ideally suited for visiting close by Sherwood forest (30minutes), the ancient market towns of Newark (30minutes), Southwell Minster(10minutes) and Lincoln cathedral(45minutes). Alternatively why not spend some time enjoying shopping or the sporting facilities in nearby Nottingham city (15minutes). The national water sports center, Ice stadium and international cricket and Tennis center are a few of the excellent venues close by. Payment is by bank transfer or UK cheque or cash. Deposit of £60.00 is required to reserve your booking. Balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy: For Cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival and more than days prior to arrival there is a fee of £20.00 OR the entire deposit of £60.00.
There are no refunds for cancellations less than 3 WEEKS prior to arrival. Travel insurance is advised. Rules: Rates are subject to change without any prior notice.
