GENERAL PROPERTY INFORMATIONS Exceptional country house in extensive parkland Position: The beautiful estate of Chateau de Fontenay, where the house is situated, is a mile outside the pretty old town Nérondes with its shops, supermarket and Saturday market. The Berry region is full of riches with its Romanesque churches and Romantic châteaux, the Sancerre vineyards, the motor racing at Nevers-Magny Cours and the lovely cities of Bourges and Nevers. The east facing garden laid to lawn has garden furniture and barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining. At the rear of the house, the very large garden houses the swimming pool (10x5m, 15/05-30/09) with a roller shutter both as a method of security and to keep it warm. The garden is ideal for children to play in safety. There are some lovely walks in the park and the surrounding woods which are full of wildlife.
