Experience the Special Ambience of this Delightful B&B Experience the special ambience of this delightful B&B set in an attractive organic garden. Only one party of guests is hosted at one time thus allowing you to relax and feel truly at home in the peace and privacy of your rooms. Another great advantage of a stay at Kowhai Cottage is that you are just a 5 minute stroll to Motueka's High Street with its choice of great cafés and restaurants. There are also several exceptional restaurants just a short drive away.

The main room is sunny and spacious and looks out onto the garden. It is tastefully decorated with a divinely comfortable queen bed, couch, coffee table, well equipped snack bar with fridge and microware, TV/DVD, hair dryer and iron and board. A single trundler bed can be set up for an additional adult or child. A second room, also very spacious and well appointed, is available for a larger party such as a family group or two couples traveling together.

The native timber lined bathroom with tub and shower is adjacent to the rooms. Towels and cotton bathrobes are supplied and beach towels can be borrowed. Your rooms are very private and have their own entrance off the verandah allowing you to come and go as you please. Laundry facilities and wireless internet are available upon request. Smoking in garden only please.

Breakfast, served on the verandah overlooking the garden and goldfish pond, is a laden table of excellent food. As much as possible of it is organic, homemade and homegrown or locally sourced. Freshly ground organic coffee and good teas are available at all times. The water is from an on site well and is of excellent drinking quality.

My guests love the tranquility of the organic garden full of native plants, fruit trees, flowers and vegetables and love to watch Gilbert, the neighbour's cat, come to drink at the pond and to gaze wistfully at the goldfish! If you wish to cook an evening meal there is a gas barbecue (plus a clean up service) available for a small extra cost TV/DVD, Shower, Washing Machine Only, Lake, Patio, Garden View
