Three spacious double bedrooms with ensuite showers are set over three floors each enjoying their own privacy and balcony. Mosta is situated in the centre of the Island of Malta. It is probably best known for the Mosta Dome, completed in 1860. The parish church which supports the dome is dedicated to St. Mary, and it is here that a large bomb fell through the roof, bounced off the wall and skidded along the ground amidst some 300 parishioners attending a Holy Hour Of Adoration in 1942 during World War II. The bomb never exploded. Mosta is defended by the Great Ridge, whose steep escarpment forms a natural barrier. The Great Ridge is the route along which the defensive wall known as the Victoria Lines was built by the British in the 19th century. Originally Mosta was made up of several little hamlets, but now it is a town of considerable proportion. Mosta has a small shopping centre close to the main church, and is primarily a residential town. Homes here vary from houses of character in the oldest part of town, town houses dating from the early 1900s and more modern apartments, maisonettes, terraced houses and villas on the outskirts.
