Soca Penthouse : Rivers – Including Numerous Gorges and Waterfalls The Soca-penthouse is situated on the first floor of the locally well-known "Munih-house" in the higher part of Most na Soci and is one of 6 (private) apartments within the building. Parking places are at the square just next to the building. The penthouse and terrace have recently been completely renovated, using only natural materials like hard stone, oak flooring and old cement tiles from a monastery. The sympathetic restoration gives style and the ambiance it deserves.

The penthouse includes two bedrooms (to sleep 6), a large hallway and living room, stylish bathroom and separate kitchen with entrance to the private sunny very large terrace offering stunning views of the mountains and the confluence of the Soca- and Idrijca-rivers. In the Penthouse, modern equipment is installed guaranteeing a comfortable stay; also all beds have superior quality mattresses, sheets, towels and so on. But the real reason people like to stay here is - the location - the high position, the views and the feeling the penthouse gives you. You just don't want to leave...

Most na Soci lies in the "land of living water" where several rivers flow into the Soca which finally leads to the Adriatic. The rivers – including numerous gorges and waterfalls - make the valley one of the best fly-fishing area's in Europe. The East-West position of the valley in combination with the warmer air bouncing up the Julian Alps makes it a very popular area for paragliding. The river Soca offers superb opportunities for rafting, kayaking and several outdoor activities. Last but not least the rivers have several bathing areas and beaches.

For "good food" the area of Kobarid is famous. They call it the "gastronomic circle": Several restaurants there compete for the title of "best restaurant in Slovenia".; this title has for years only been given to restaurants in Kobarid. In particular, Hiša Franko in Staro Selo near Kobarid attracts gastronomic lovers. For those who like gambling; Nova Gorica, the casino town of Slovenia, is just less then 40 km's away. Swimming, Parking Available, DVD Library, Near Beach, Satellite TV, Shower, Washing Machine Only, Terrace, Stereo, Mountain Friuli Venetia Giulia Airport at Trieste is only 20 km from Nova Gorica and 60 km from Most na Soci (link); now they fly weekly - Weeze/Dusseldorf, Brussel and London
