it's Raised Wooden Outdoor Terrace with a Panoramic View Over the Valley GITE BELLEVUE SLEEPS 4/7 Ideal for a family of 4 to 5, or for up to 7 for a week-end. This cottage has: 1 master bedroom, a queen sized bed & 1 single bed, an ensuite shower room and toilet.
2 alcoves made private by a curtain, each with 1 single bed, which have a private bathroom and toilet. A large living/kitchen and dining area with TV and 1 high quality sofa bed which sleeps 2. The kitchen looks out over the woodland landscape to the rear of the house. The highlight of this gîte is it's raised wooden outdoor terrace with a panoramic view over the valley particularly pleasant for outdoor eating in the summer months, and has it's own BBQ.
Is a peaceful,and charming country village, where within less than a 5 minute walk you will find commodities including: A small grocery shop,where fresh bread and croissants are delivered as from 7.30am each day. There are several Vineyards in Monthou, where you can turn up and taste, visit, and buy on the premises. A village butcher who is locally renowned for his "charcuterie" and pâtés.
Not to be missed during your stay is the Sunday morning market at Amboise. Although this is the morning after your arrival, it's well worth the effort, you won't regret it. The 2nd biggest and most varied in France, runs the whole length of Amboise along the Loire riverside.
A couple of other highly recommended visits are the underground mushroom caves just a few minutes drive away, and of course the ZOO PARC DE BEAUVAL, only a 15 minute drive, where you need to set aside a whole day to see everything.
The nearest shops and Boulangerie,are 2 Kms away, however, for supermarkets and a wider choice, there are the market towns of Montrichard 7Kms, or St Aignan 12 Kms.
There are far more places to visit and things to do in the surrounding area than can be done on a one or two week holiday. There is so much to discover that choices have to be made carefully.
