An ideal holiday home situated in a small rural hamlet 20 kms from Bergerac – well known for its central location on the Dordogne River and in the middle of the famous Bergerac wine châteaux. The cobbled town centre streets host large open markets and offer many artisan shops, lively bars and gourmet restaurants. The wine route is easy to follow and you can taste fine wines such as Montbazillac and Pécharment and talk to local winemakers about their evolving profession. Days out can also include the many fortified bastide towns in the area – Eymet, Duras, Issigeac etc. Les Eyzies and Sarlat are about 60 kms away and well worth a visit. Nearest village Villamblard (shop, bar, restaurant) 7 kms.
What was a detached stone farmhouse has been restored, decorated and furnished to a high standard to become a spacious holiday home. The house is well-equipped, offers a sunny terrace with shade tree overlooking the private pool.
Ground floor: Living room with open fireplace, TV and door to terrace. Dining room with wood-burning stove. Kitchen with door to terrace and dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer & TV. Utility room. Large shower room with twin basins. Separate WC.
First floor: Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom (comprising small double bed and sofa bed). Shower room. Separate WC.
Start day Saturday. 7 & 14 stays only.

Payment Policy:
Rates are in Euros. Cancellation Policy: If you cancel a booking we will charge the cancellation fee set out below. The percentage of the Rental Price we charge as a cancellation fee will depend on the time left before your rental is due to start.(a) If we receive your cancellation 43 or more days (six weeks plus one day or more) before you are due to arrive, you will lose your Booking Deposit of 30% of the rental price. (b) If we receive your cancellation on any day between the 42nd day (six weeks) before the date you are due to arrive and the 29th day (four weeks plus one day) before the date you are due to arrive you will lose 50% (half) of the Rental Price. (c) If we receive your cancellation on any day including or after the 28th day before your arrival date, then you will lose 100% (all) of the Rental Price. Rules: Rates are subjected to change without prior notice.
If you make your reservation at least six weeks before the rental period begins a Booking Deposit of 30% of the total rental cost is due at the time of the booking. The balance of the Rental Price is due no later than six weeks before the rental period begins. If we do not receive the balance of the Rental Price by that time, we will assume you have cancelled your booking. We are entitled to relet the property to other customers without contacting you again. If you reserve the property less than six weeks before the date you are due to arrive, you must pay the Rental Price in full when you make the booking.
