La casa dell' Ammiraglio Bed & Breakfast In a quiet village of the Tigullio's Coast, near the "5 TERRE" and Portofino, at the 2nd floor of a important palazzo (perhaps the most prestigious of the town), the B&B LA CASA DELL'AMMIRAGLIO offers 3 rooms fully furnished in '700 and '800 styles, richly decorated with painted ceilings and paintings of well known geniuses painters of the XVIIth century.
The B&B “Casa dell’Ammiraglio” has two large connecting bedrooms, one of them with marriage bed, the other with separable double bed.
The living room is separated from the bedrooms by a floor and can be reached from the entrance hall, which is decorated with antique furniture and paintings of artists from the 17. century. Moneglia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria , located about 50 km southeast of Genoa. It is a tourist resort on the Riviera di Levante.
Main sights
- Church of San Giorgio, built in 1396 by Benedictine monks, who were replaced by Franciscan in 1494. The interior houses a wooden sculpture by Anton Maria Maragliano, a canvas of St. George Killing the Dragon attributed to Pieter Paul Rubens, a Madonna with Saints by Carlo Dolci and an Adoration of the Magi by Luca Cambiaso. It has also a notble cloister.
