Converted Barn on Beautiful Farm in The Heart of The Exmoor National Park Bees Knees and Honey cott are two beautifully converted cottages that stand on Allercott Farm in the center of West Somerset. They are south facing and have their own private sunny gardens with patio and garden furniture. The cottages are at the heart of this picturesque and hidden farm with enclosed gardens so that your children or dogs can be free to play and you have peace and quiet. Both properties sleep up to four and have been converted from a barn to a high standard with a lot of care and attention gone into every detail to make your stay comfortable.

Zoe and Julian Wilford own the farm and live near the cottages and are on hand to help and answer questions. Guests will be welcome to share and explore the 222 acres of land that is home to the ruins of the lost village of Clicket, 400 Lleyn sheep with their lambs and a suckler herd of 50 Simintal cows with calves. You will also get the chance to meet the two working farm dogs Badger and Max.Bees knees Cottage, you enter the cottage into an open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting room with two leather sofas, flat screen TV and DVD player and farmhouse style table that can seat 4 people easily.

The cottage possesses two bedrooms-one twin and one king-size bed with beautiful exposed beams. The top floor leads out onto a terrace garden offering a comfortable patio area to sit outside. This then leads round to a pretty pergola with a well-kept private walled garden area that is perfect for barbecues. The bathroom has a bath and shower with freshly laundered linen and towels.

Honeycott Cottage From the top floor you get exceptional views of the garden and further off in the distance to the coast and hills of Ex moor. The king-size double room and twin bedroom both have wardrobes and bedside tables with exposed beams of the original barn.

There is a bath and shower room on this floor as well. The cottage has a relaxed and comfortable open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with two sofas, a flat screen TV and DVD player. An antique round pine table and chairs easily seats 4 people. The convenient enclosed garden is on the doorstep and leads onto the communal orchard and parking.
