Getting there
Situated on the « Côte Bleue », next to « Cap Couronne », approximately 12 km from Martigues, 55 km south west of Aix en Provence, and 45 km west of Marseille.
Environment : In a quiet residential area, 200m from the beach at Carro, 1000m from the harbour and further beach; 300m from the village centre with its shops; and 150m from the closest restaurants.
PLACES TO SEE:
Martigues. 12 km. Large town between the Mediterranean coast and the Etang de Berre, with charming and picturesque old city centre and attractive harbour area.
Carry le Rouet. 13 km. Charming seaside resort with lovely beaches, clear waters and picturesque little fishing port. At the foot of pine covered hills, in the heart of the "Côte Bleue". Also ideal for beautiful walks all along the seaside.
Marseille. 45 km. Second largest city in France, cosmopolitan and exuberant, renowned for its picturesque old port and Bouillabaisse (a tomato based soup with a multitude of different fish).
Camargue. 50 km. Natural Park, around the Rhone Delta, home to bulls, wild white horses, flamingoes and with an exceptionally rich wild life. Best discovered slowly, on foot, on horseback, on a bicycle or in a boat. Bordered by 60 km of fine sand beaches, the Camargue is popular with sunbathers.

Aquacity, Les Pennes Mirabeau. 30 km. Waterpark. Large waterpark with several pools, slides, diving boards, wave machine, rapids, bubble pool, bumper boats... Plenty to do for all ages.

Vibrant city of festivals, art and culture, with extraordinarily well-preserved Roman arena (the very same that was the scene of the Roman games in the 1st century!), backed by an equally impressive variety of other stones and monuments, both Roman and medieval. Linked with Gaugain, Van Gogh and Picasso.
Cassis. 70 km. Chic seaside resort at the foot of the tall Cap Canaille cliff, with picturesque fishing port lined with attractive traditional pastel painted buildings and plenty of cafes and restaurants.
Les Baux de Provence. 70 km. Most beautiful Provencal hill top and fortified village, in the heart of the Alpilles with brilliant view of Arles, the Camargue and the Alpilles. Officially classified and labelled as "one of the most beautiful villages in France", it is one of the “must sees” in Provence.
