Keonis Coffee Shack, A Family-Friendly Hideaway Whether you call Keoni’s a small house or a simple cottage, it is a comfortable and economical vacation home in a stunning location. This 900 square foot, recently-built house is nestled in a lush, green valley of tropical vegetation, flowers and fruit, and, it is only a 5-10 minute walk to the shore and Laupahoehoe’s beautiful cliff-lined coast. Enjoy privacy with easy access.

A lot of history has passed by this jewel of a location but today it is quiet and peaceful, with only several other homes, including the family that manages it, and the beach park nearby. It is a few minutes drive to the small town of Laupahoehoe. The surrounding region, known as Hamakua, is largely agricultural.

Keoni’s is an affordable choice for families with children or small groups of congenial adults. It is furnished for simple living to appeal to travelers and eco tourists who prefer nature to luxury. The cabin has a spacious lay-out with two rooms in addition to the bath. The large kitchen area has a new gas range and refrigerator and is furnished with all the basics you will need.

Two queen, one full, and two twin beds in two bedrooms. Solar electric system supplying ample lighting, small appliances and your laptop and other electronics. City water. Free phone service for all U.S. calls. Easy to find and easy access. Surrounded by tropical plants and natural beauty. Free high speed Ethernet connection.( Bring your own laptop)
