The Bunkhouse is a Private Romanic Cabin Overlooking the Ocean
The Bunkhouse is a very romantic private cabin that sets beside the main house and overlooks the Tongass Narrows. It was originally floated to the property in 1940 from a cannery camp up north and opened for guests in July of 2007. The cabin walls are finished in white-washed red cedar and the floors are done in porcelain and slate. The main room has a queen bed, a fireplace, a ceiling fan, an eating and sitting area and large picture windows overlooking the water.
There is a small kitchenette and a bathroom with a great travertine walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a single bed and a beautiful view of the rock gardens. Sirious satellite surround sound, Cable TV, and high speed Wirless Internet are provided.
The open sun deck runs across the front of the cabin and is a great place to set and enjoy the Inside Passage and Ketchikan's magnificent Sunsets. Payment Policy: All Rates Are In US Dollars.
Rates Are Subject To Change Without Prior Notice. A reservation deposit of the first nights charge or 50% of the total booking, if the stay is more than one night, is required when the reservation is made. Personal checks, Cashiers Checks, Cash, and Visa or MasterCard payments are accepted. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations of September through April Reservations must be made two weeks in advance, in order for the deposit to be returned. Reservations for May through August must be canceled no less that 30 days ahead of time, to get the deposit back This requirement may be waved when the cancellation is due to an immediate Family emergency or uncontrollable circumstances due to travel conditions. Proof may be required. In most cases a credit for a future trip will be offered when cancellations are made after the deadline. In all cancellation cases, a $50 processing fee will be retained from the deposit.
