These lovely semi-detached houses are perched on a site overlooking Kenmare and its surrounding hills and mountains in a private self catering development, Our Holiday Homes have their own garden (closed off from other gardens by a picket fence) and are very family friendly - the perfect setting from where to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside and the breathtaking scenery for which Kenmare is world renowned.Our Holiday homes are designed to the very highest standards with guests needs to the fore, combining both luxury and practicality.

The spacious lounge is tastefully furnished and contains an open fireplace, T.V,DVD and very cozy suite of furniture. The open plan kitchen/dining area has a sunny aspect and plenty of space. The kitchen is fully fitted and stocked with all the modern conveniences such as electric cooker, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave. All necessary kitchen utensils and crockery are provided. Upstairs a spacious landing leads to three bedrooms.

There is 1 double king bedroom with ensuite facilities and 2 twin/doubles bedrooms. Each bedroom has more than adequate storage space. Kenmare is located at the head of Kenmare Bay sometimes called the Kenmare River (An Ribhéar) where the Roughty River (An Ruachtach) flows into the sea, and at the junction of the Iveragh Peninsula and the Beara Peninsula. The traditional Irish name of the bay was Inbhear Scéine from the celtic inver, which is recorded in the 11th Century narrative Lebor Gabála Érenn as the arrival point of the mythological Irish ancestor Partholón. It is also located near the MacGillycuddy's Reeks, Mangerton Mountain and Caha Mountains and is a popular hillwalking destination.
