Beautiful La Joanne or La Chouette in Orne La Joanne and La Chouette each have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sunny and spacious kitchen/dining room/living room. Equipped with washing machine, good sized fridge, dishwasher, cooker, micro-wave, DVD player, radio/CD player, WI-FI access inside. Outside: barbecue, plunge-pool (shared), some games, cats, dog, chickens and sheep, a few games and plenty of space. Owners are on site in the main house across the courtyard. Linen provided. The area is called the Perche, full of pretty villages, rolling countryside, forests and cultural interest. Famous for the magnificent Percheron draught horse, and gastronomic Norman delights: apples, cream, cider, calvados, camembert and other cheeses, black and white pudding etc. We are far enough south to be warmer than Britain without suffering from forest fires, but still very green and not too touristic.
