Rest and relax in this waterfront home with panoramic view of Hubbards Cove Located at the end of a private lane in Hubbards Cove this waterfront home is just 50 minutes from the airport. It is completely winterized so it is also a great getaway during colder months. The open area kitchen is fully equipped and overlooks a large living room and separate dining area which have a panoramic ocean view. There is a queen bedroom and a double bedroom and a pull-out bed in the den/ TV room. Wifi enables you to keep in touch. The living room stereo can play CDs and radio and the den, with cable TV, has both a VHS and DVD player. Movies can be rented nearby. A washer and dryer are provided in the laundry room. Not the place for loud parties or excessive noise, it is a perfect home base for exploring the south shore or for resting and relaxing on site. There are several beaches close by or you can swim in the private beach area on the property or just sit and watch the boats coming in and out of the cove. Payment Policy: Payment is in Canadian dollars. We accept bank draft, post office money order, cash, visa, mastercard, and travellers cheques. In order to secure your booking $250 is required within seven days. This is equivalent to a one-night stay plus $100 damage deposit. The balance is due three weeks prior to your arrival. Cancellation Policy: For cancellation of thirty days to two months prior to arrival there is a fee of one night's rent. Within 10 to 30 days the fee is 50% of cost. There is no refund for cancellations less than 10 days prior to arrival. There is the option of using this fee as credit for re-booking in the future. Rules: Except for no pets and no smoking, there are no house rules. Care should be taken around the shoreline rocks, and the wharf is no longer safe for use- please stay off of it. Loud music and noise is inconsiderate of others and is unacceptable. Please treat our home with respect and enjoy your stay. My sister and brother-in-law live right next door and help with care-taking when we are not on the property ourselves. The turn-around cleaning time before the next guests arrive is short. As you leave, it would be appreciated if dishes were done and trash was deposited in the bins provided. Subject to inspection, your damage deposit will be returned within seven days.
