Gite Engreux: Romantic location in Haute Ardennes This guest house has been recognized by the Wallon government as a gite which must correspond to very severe criteria as security (electricity, central heating etc.) There is place for about 8 to 10 persons.

Our tariff is based on an occupation of 5 persons. There is plenty of parking facility for at least 4 cars. The specialty of the region is that there is a guarantee of total silence, since this corner is somewhere at the end of the world and still very near to the immense woods with the Ourthe nearby.

By car you can reach the supermarket in 10 minutes and there is a restaurant at a 5 minute walk. Inside you'll find all kinds of gnomes. This region is known for witches and gnomes.

There is a fully fenced area of ¿¿approximately 4000 m2. In the house there is gas central heating and ... for those who like cozy evenings there is a fire place inside the house. There is plenty of wood just behind the house. There are two barbecues one natural one outside against the rocks and one in steal.

There are three bedrooms of which one with two bunk beds, while two have double beds. There is a fully equipped bathroom, all around in marble, a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, a spacious living room with TV. It is situated within endless woods, the river Ourhte nearby, a rocky landscape. In Houffalize you can rent bikes and explore the fantastic surroundings from there. In winter and summer you can eat nearby and get delicious meals that aren't expensive. Also there are plenty of restaurants in Nadrin, Laroche, Bastogne or Houffalize.

A storehouse is about 4 km drive towards Libramont. Engreux is lovely situated in the middle (triangle) between Houffalize, Bastogne (known from the second world war with its museum) and Laroche. It is a village full of romance.
