39 Studio Unit Timeshare Resort Lifetime in Hawaii (also referred to as “Lifetime”) is a 39-unit timeshare resort owned and operated by the Lifetime in Hawaii Interval Owners Association, established in 1984 and managed by Southern California based Vacation Leisure Maintenance Company, Inc. Lifetime is overseen by a five-member, volunteer board of directors.

UNITS

Lifetime in Hawaii’s 39 studio units with lanais randomly are situated on Floors 16 through 27, ranging from 445 to 538 square feet, with ocean, city, mountain, or Diamond Head views. All units have maximum occupancy for four people and privacy for two and have one bathroom, vanity area, and a walk-in shower. There are queen beds and queen sofa beds. Although Lifetime’s units are accessible to our handicapped guests, the units are not handicapped equipped per se, inasmuch as the Lifetime resort is a private entity. Pets are not permitted by The Lifetime in Hawaii Interval Owners Association unless handicapped certified. Smoking is prohibited in Lifetime’s units and/or lanais; violators may be subject to a $250 fine.

The resort is located in the Royal Kuhio Building, just two blocks from Waikiki Beach. The building is mixed use, with private owners as well as commercial rentals and timeshares. The Royal Kuhio originally was constructed in the mid-1970's, portions of which have been renovated as recently as 2009. The Royal Kuhio Building is governed by its own set of association regulations, therefore Lifetime is an “association within an association” and subject to both the Lifetime and Royal Kuhio associations’ CC&Rs/Rules and Regulations.

Lifetime has an affiliation agreement with Resort Condominium International (RCI), one of the largest exchange companies, and has recently secured a dual affiliation with Interval International (I.I.) as well.
